How a Taply card works
Each Taply card holds a small chip programmed with one link. When you tap your card to a compatible iPhone or Android phone, that phone opens your link. The person you meet does not need an app. Card + Profile customers' cards open a Taply profile at an address such as yourname.taply.cards (see rufus.taply.cards for a live example); Card Only customers' cards open the link they supply.
How ordering works
- Choose Card Only or Card + Profile and check out at taply.cards.
- Complete one setup form for each card, using the link in your order confirmation email.
- For Card + Profile, review the profile preview and approve it.
- Taply programs and tests your card, then ships it. Most orders are prepared within 14 business days after payment and all setup details are received; carrier delivery time is additional.
Good to know
- There is no minimum order. You can order one card.
- With active hosting, you can request changes to your profile details by emailing hello@taply.cards. Your card keeps opening the same profile address.
- A card's link is set when it is programmed. Pointing a card to a different link means mailing it in to be reprogrammed.
- Card Only has no hosted profile and no monthly fee.
